VODAFONE IDEA NEWS
Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has stated that the Indian government's stake in Vodafone Idea (Vi) will not exceed 48.9%. This clarification comes in the context of the government potentially converting its deferred spectrum and adjusted gross revenue (AGR) dues into equity, a move that could have led to a higher stake. The current stake held by the government is approximately 33.14% following this conversion. The minister's statement aims to address concerns and provide clarity on the government's future holding in the struggling telecom company.
